We host workshops, jams, screenings, and gatherings, while also carrying our events beyond the studio—traveling from town to town and internationally to meet new communities.
Our work is mobile, and we’re available to be booked for your own events as well, whether that means inviting Sophie to lead a workshop or movement experience, or hiring Jani to document your event through photography.
Wherever it happens, we’re here to create thoughtful, grounded, and meaningful experiences together.
Explore our schedule of dance, photography, and creative studio events. Find details, times, and locations for all upcoming and recent activities.
Join us for an 8-week research series exploring human connection through movement, presence, and improvisation. No dance experience required.
In ʻIke, seeing is a tender, risky practice: I let you exist fully in my eyes, and you let me exist in yours. The work moves between subtle, intimate encounters and larger group constellations, tracing how attention travels through a room, how trust is built or withheld, how proximity can both soothe and unsettle.
Join us for 8 weeks of movement, growth, and community.

Bring ember∙kind to your community and ignite a space where movement becomes language, gathering, and gentle revolution. We weave contemporary dance, somatic exploration, and creative research into the everyday life of your studio, festival, school, or arts hub, strengthening your cultural ecosystem. We arrive with an open heart, listening to the stories already present, and inviting people to move from exactly where they are. Workshops, residencies, and performance projects become living laboratories for connection, courage, and wild, honest expression.
Hosting ember∙kind helps attract committed adults, deepen your offerings, and build long-term, values-aligned collaborations.
