We’re welcoming two amazing, deeply-feeling artists into THE BOOSTER INCUBATOR residency: Lia Kajari and Andreane Bolduc-Hernandez. They are spending this week researching grief and change through movement, letting it move through their bodies, their stories, and their writing. This residency is being mentored by Sophie Barbarics, who has been holding and guiding their process throughout the week.
If your soul is craving meaning and depth, Or if you simply see the importance of supporting artists while the work is still in process —COME.

Join us for an 8-week research series exploring human connection through movement, presence, and improvisation. No dance experience required.
In ʻIke, seeing is a tender, risky practice: I let you exist fully in my eyes, and you let me exist in yours. The work moves between subtle, intimate encounters and larger group constellations, tracing how attention travels through a room, how trust is built or withheld, how proximity can both soothe and unsettle.
Join us for 6 weeks of movement, growth, and community.
The Cocoon Lab invites dancers and creative movers into an 6-week adventure, shaped by the playful and experimental spirit of Sophie Barbarics. Each session is a hands-on laboratory of movement, blending contemporary dance technique, improvisation, and expressive exercises designed to spark curiosity and transformation.

Bring ember∙kind to your community and ignite a space where movement becomes language, gathering, and gentle revolution. We weave contemporary dance, somatic exploration, and creative research into the everyday life of your studio, festival, school, or arts hub, strengthening your cultural ecosystem. We arrive with an open heart, listening to the stories already present, and inviting people to move from exactly where they are. Workshops, residencies, and performance projects become living laboratories for connection, courage, and wild, honest expression.
Hosting ember∙kind helps attract committed adults, deepen your offerings, and build long-term, values-aligned collaborations.
