We handle every session with the same importance, carefully planning and paying attention for the details. Before we take action we define the style, purpose, mood, colours. We plan the technical needs of the session according to the location and your branding. We specify the necessary equipment, gears, furnitures, effects, accessories, etc. We fix the date and time frame of the shoot, the number of participants, the need of assistance/crew (clothing, styling, hair, makeup, lighting assistance). We decide to use/not use props. We set our goals around the planned usage of the pictures (different ratios for desired platforms, extra space for text or logos). And most importantly, we get to know each other better, establish basic trust and connection, which will make our session easier and more effective for both of us.
Choose clothing that reflects your professional or personal style. Comfort is the first step to confidence. Bring a few outfit options if possible, and select pieces that work well with your tones and the session’s intended mood. Solid colours and minimal patterns work best.
Get some rest before the shoot if possible. Feeling fresh is always a good start. Make sure you use makeup and hair styled as you prefer. You can also pack touch-up items such as hair products or makeup. Bring your clothes on hangers, so they remain smooth and flawless as you arrive at the location. We have a changing room in our studio where you can get ready for the session and store your belongings safely.
Yes, bringing a friend or colleague for support is generally welcome, especially first-timers who may feel nervous in front of the camera.
Sessions can range from 20 minutes to 2 hours for a portrait shoot, and several hours for a more complex session, depending on the number of people, wardrobe changes and set building. A typical headshot session lasts about 60-90 minutes, as we are not just clicking away, but filtering and choosing the final pictures as well.
Edited photos are typically delivered within 72 hours. You will receive high-resolution digital files suitable for online use or printing.
Ownership usually belongs to the photographer, but you receive usage rights.
Yes, we deliver your photos retouched and fully edited. Our retouch etiquette is that we remove all skin flaws which can heal in two weeks time.
